The Opportunity
This Regional Corporate Site Director is responsible for ensuring consistent experiences for employees and leaders across the USAA Chesapeake, VA office location. In this role, you will cultivate robust communication between each of the USAA Regional Site Directors (your peers) to broaden visibility and increase consistency in approach to regional operations. You will ensure regional facilities are maintained and operated in accordance with USAA standards. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining USAA’s brand reputation in the local community (Corporate Sponsorships, Corporate Citizenship, Military, etc). This is an individual contributor role.

What you'll do:
Identifies issues, trends, and recommends/implements process improvements.
Coordinates, develops, and maintains regional business continuation (BC) plans.
Plans and identifies resources required to ensure minimal interruption to business operations in the event of a natural or human-made disaster, catastrophe, or weather interruption.
Supports the Chesapeake Site Leader in the training, maintenance, and execution the Situation Management Team (SMT).
Leads local community, member, and employee events to establish relationships, and represent USAA in the community.
Facilitates the end-to-end grant process in alignment with USAA community goals.
Works with the Chesapeake Site Leader to evaluate, select, and implement sponsorship opportunities.
Serves as the administrator of the Chesapeake region's campus and community budget.
Works closely with the local business operations senior staff evaluating and coordinating the impact of staff initiatives and employee events on the business.
Provides management mentorship to all building-wide support functions to ensure appropriate site requirements are met.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor’s degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
8 years of campus or facility management experience.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
Expert communication skills with proven ability to drive solutions across organizational levels.
Proven collaboration skills in a matrixed environment, including providing consultative guidance to solve enterprise-wide issues.
Advanced knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
What sets you apart:
Corporate Site Director/Corporate Real Estate/Facility Management experience.
Community Engagement experience, preferably within Chesapeake, VA, and surrounding areas.
Experience in strategic growth (workforce and real estate).
Military experience serving in a Chief of Staff related role.

What we offer:
Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location. The salary range for this position is: $143,320.00 - $273,930.00.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
