The Opportunity
As a dedicated Post Closing Curative Specialist Intermediate, you will within defined guidelines and framework, responsible for capturing information/evidence to resolve post-closing data and document deficiencies. Ensures required documents are cured in a timely manner and in accordance with Bank, Investor and Regulatory guidelines. Communicates frequently with members and third parties to provide process status.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in the following location: San Antonio, TX. Relocationassistance is not available for this position.
What you'll do:
Uses established procedures to reconcile missing documents and may cure document deficiencies identified during the review of the collateral loan package.
Collaborates with team members to resolve issues or identify appropriate issues for customer concern.
Adheres to specified timeframes and compliance and internal guidelines established by post-closing department, investors, agencies, and third-party providers.
Follow up with internal and external third parties as needed to acquire loan documentation needed to complete and satisfy the loan file for purchase.
Serves as the point of contact for the member when vital to resolve missing documents required to complete the initial file.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are optimally identified, measured, supervised, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required.
1 year of experience in real estate lending within a financial services organization.
Knowledge of VA and Conventional mortgage loan transactions.
Knowledge of applicable Real Estate laws and regulations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
What sets you apart:
2 years of processing and/or closing experience to include a solid understanding of standard mortgage closing documents and title documentation.
2 years VA and FHA loan experience.
2 years of experience with member contact, demonstrating excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong multi-tasking and critical thinking skills.
Salary: The salary range for this position is: $43,680 - $72,020.

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
